Christmas at Bute Park 2021 – Review #AD

We were invited to Christmas at Bute Park in exchange for an honest review.

Last week the Welsh Mummy Blogs family started Christmas with a bang!! We were invited to the impressive Christmas at Bute Park light trail spectacular.

From now until the 31st December, this 1.4 km fully accessible light trail will have the whole family memorized.

We had a fantastic time walking through the breathtaking spectrum of Christmas illuminations, sculptures and special effects.

The walk took about an hour with one stop halfway for some delicious hot chocolate (card payments only). Christmas at Bute Park is pram/wheelchair friendly with specially built walkways and paths.

My sons really enjoyed the holograms of snowflakes and other patterns that seemed to dance on the floor.

Before you leave the light trail there is an area with toilets and a range of food and drink vendors, so you can indulge in some festive treats and drinks.

You are welcome to stay in the street food hub for as long as you wish. Perfect if you want to try a delicious hot cocoa or truly get into the Christmas spirit with a spiced warming glass of mulled wine.

Our highlights!

Flaming Fire Garden

Feeling a tad cold we soon warmed up in the fire garden. Here you will find a flickering world of handcrafted, intricate fire sculptures, close enough to feel the heat. From blazing begonias to burning bulrushes; this dazzling display of unique artworks, created by the UK’s leading fire art specialists will ignite you.

The Enchanting Woods
Here we found disco themed music and a giant glitter ball heart. The light reflecting off the heart and music made us all dance.

Laser light
We stayed a while at this multi-coloured flashing laser light spectacular. Perfect spot for them Instagram selfies.
