The Mysteries in Time subscription box follows Max and Katie as they travel back in time to solve a mystery. We also received a world map which we hung on the bedroom wall.
The Mysteries in Time subscription box allows your child to get creative, have fun, learn fun facts and solve puzzles. The box will inspire any child to love history.
Although aimed at children aged 7-11 years, my 5 year old son, Harrison, was most excited by the activities.
This exciting journey through history starts in Ancient Egypt. We received the time machine box within days of ordering. When the box arrived my sons were very eager to take a look.
We started by reading the adventure story. My boys loved following Max and Katie as they traveled back in time to Ancient Egypt. Katie and Max had a mission, they were to solve a mystery about a pharaohs daughter who had vanished!
After reading the story we jumped straight to crafts. Harrison wanted to create Anubis. He played around with the clay for a while and then later decided a bunny would look better!
My eldest and I read through the colourful magazine. The magazine is packed with history and facts, we both discovered things that we didn’t know about Ancient Egypt. I was fascinated with the facts about make up, clothes and jewellery.
We then had a look at Egyptian Hieroglyphs. The hieroglyphs card was very useful, we worked out what was written and then had a go at writing our own names using hieroglyphs.
Harrison coloured in the colouring pages.
The Mysteries in Time subscription box is well worth the money. There are so many activities to do – We’ve not finished them all yet!
