Last night I attended a pop up wine tasting event at Coffi Cwtch in LLandaff North.
The sold out pop up wine taster event was hosted by Amanda from a local independent wine company Bay Tree wine company.
Bay Tree Wine Company, a South Wales based independent wine merchant, was established in 2010. Its founder, Howard Kynaston, turned a long term hobby and passion into a business whilst sourcing a favourite Chablis once tasted in a London restaurant.
Bay Tree aims to source quality wines ‘with personality’ from smaller, usually family run producers, which means they can offer customers quality wine, great value for money and customer satisfaction.
Guests were taken on a tour of the Mediterranean with classic wines from France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. All wines were complimented by delicious antipasti and cheese sharer platters.
The atmosphere at Coffi Cwtch was amazing, conversations were flowing and guests were enjoying the good quality wines and food. I would highly recommend a wine tasting event at Coffi Cwtch if you are looking for something different to do.
Coffi Cwtch will be hosting another pop up wine event with Bay Tree Wine Company on August 19th you can book tickets here

I don’t drink, but it sounds like you had a good time xx
This place looks gorgeous! I’ll definitely have to check it out. There are so many good new cafes popping up in Cardiff!
